Delta Wordweavers is an open organization of storytellers in Contra Costa County, CA, without dues charged. Almost every event is free through the goodness of volunteers. In recent years, sans COVID, we raised money in a community booth which realized us some cash that is held in a petty cash fund. The amount is too small for a bank account. It has been used to pay for fliers, in-person event expenses, workshop leaders and occasional storytellers online and not. The goal is to help novice storytellers improve their storytelling skills and provide wholesome entertainment to our community. Future donations will go to same.

COVID has brought us Zoom participants from afar. We encourage membership in the Storytelling Association of California (SAC), and those who belong to SAC receive a discount when joining NSN. At Delta Wordweavers, interested participants' email and phone are maintained on a list used for monthly events.
