COVID brought Andre Le Mont Wilson out of semi-retirement as a storyteller. The nonprofit program where he works paused all in-person services for people with disabilities. His program also scrambled to create virtual content. The executive director recalled that he used to rehearse stories before participants. She asked him to teach a storytelling class on Zoom, and he accepted. He often begins classes with a fable, riddle, folktale, song, poem, or personal story. He has been teaching storytelling and mentoring the next generation of storytellers for a year.
