James Langdell
James Langdell is a San Francisco native. His mother, Patricia Langdell (1921-2020), was a longtime member and officer of the San Francisco Story League. James is a musician and leader of adult concert bands and groups playing for historical social dancing. He retired from a long career as a technical writer, which included work on Sun Microsystems products and being Assistant Editor of PC Magazine in its early years. James's main storytelling activity has been to set the stage for pieces of music before conducting them for an audience.
